Hang on to any of the new Arkansas Quarters. If you have them, they may be worth much more than 25 cents. The US Mint announced today that it is recalling all of the Arkansas quarters that are part of its program featuring quarters from each state. This action is being taken after numerous reports that the new quarters will not work in parking meters, toll booths, vending machines, pay phones or any other coin operated devices.

The problem lies in the unique design of the quarter, which was designed by a team of Ozark specialists.

Apparently the duct tape holding the two dimes and the nickel together keeps jamming up the machines.

Okay, I just couldn't stop laughing when I saw this! When I started reading it, I was ready to start going through all the quarters in the piggy banks, etc.! Boy, did it have me going!
It reminded me of the fact that I finally got around to watching the Tom Cruise version of 'The War of The Worlds' the other night. And as my daughter and I were getting ready to watch it, we were discussing hoaxes that have been pulled off on the American public. When will we ever learn? But they are fun when you know what is really going on!
Have a fantastic day all!
