Just wanted to let you know that my game blog, www.GazeUpon.com, is going strong! Haven't heard of it? I post basics about the new game releases from the Big Fish Games website, and follow it up with a personal review after trying the game. A new game is released every day on the Big Fish Games website. They have a wide variety a types of games, including Arcade, Time Management, Card, Hidden Object, Puzzle, Majhong, Word, Kid, and more. They are also working on increasing the number of their games that are compatible with Macintosh systems.
Do I review all of their games? Are you crazy? I am still a homeschooling (life learning, radical unschooling) mother to three active children! I usually skip over the ones that really don't look good, or look scary or graphically offensive. I make sure to mention if any of the games reviewed are not suitable for children in my opinion. And I even have labels for the "kid's favorites" games, which games are openly "educational" but lots of fun, and which games are "must haves"!
Why do I recommend Big Fish Games? I am a sucker for good customer service, and great deals!
1) Did I mention the fantastic customer service? People who actually return your email in a timely manner, and work to resolve any problems to your satisfaction. Courteous, friendly, knowledgeable... and a live chat if you are a Game Club Member, which brings me to...
2) a Great deal! How much do you pay for your computer games? I'll stick to paying $6.99 a game. Sign up for the Big Fish Game Club and you can get some seriously discounted prices on a different game each day, as well as other bonuses just for game club members.
