Isn't everyday of life just another part of our learning journey?
I think there are times in our life when we forget that every day is a learning journey, or at least that it should be. How often do we go through the day doing the same thing without really thinking about what we are doing? How often do we think about what our kids are learning, and neglect to reflect on what we are learning?
For those of us who set learning goals for our children, how many of us set them for ourselves? Do you ever take on a learning project simply because you always wanted to learn about it, or because it looked like fun?
I have been thinking about all the things that I have been learning lately, and reflecting on how much I have learned and thus grown over the last several months. I am not sure what has made me take a step back to reflect, but I am glad that I did. It made me realize just how far I have come in a few short months.. and let me see more clearly the direction I am trying to head in.
A few months ago, I set a few somewhat nebulous goals for myself in terms of what I was wanting to learn. I am quite happy to see that I have not only accomplished them, but continued to learn more. As I am quite enjoying this area of study, I am setting new goals of both learning and practicing.
Wish me luck as I continue my learning journey through life!
